Formula
Apex to Overwatch formula
Overwatch sens = Apex sens × 3.333333Apex Legends turns 0.022° per mouse count at sensitivity 1; Overwatch 2 turns 0.0066°. The ratio of the two, 0.022 ÷ 0.0066, is the multiplier. It holds at any DPI as long as you use the same DPI in both games.
Apex: Apex scopes use per-optic ADS multipliers on top of this value; this converts hipfire.

Converting from
Sensitivity in Apex Legends
Apex Legends runs on a heavily modified Source engine and shares CS2’s 0.022° yaw, so the same number turns the same distance in both. The FOV slider does not change hipfire turn speed, but ADS speed follows each optic’s zoom and can be tuned per optic once hipfire is set.
- Where to set it
- Settings → Mouse/Keyboard → Mouse Sensitivity
- Common range
- 0.9–2 at 800 DPI (26–58 cm/360°)
Converting to
Sensitivity in Overwatch 2
Overwatch 2 shares its 0.0066° yaw with Call of Duty and Destiny 2, so values move between those three unchanged. Sensitivity can be overridden per hero, and scoped heroes such as Widowmaker and Ashe add Relative Aim Sensitivity While Zoomed (default 30%) on top.

- 4–7 at 800 DPI (25–43 cm/360°)

Where Apex players land in Overwatch
Competitive Apex players mostly use 0.9–2 at 800 DPI, which converts to Overwatch 3–6.67. Overwatch players typically sit at 4–7, so a typical Apex sens lands inside the usual Overwatch range once converted.
FAQ
Apex to Overwatch sens questions
How do I convert Apex sens to Overwatch?
To keep the same feel, multiply your Apex sens by 3.3333. At the same DPI, Apex 1.5 equals Overwatch 5. If you play Overwatch at a different DPI, enter both DPIs in the converter above and it compensates.
What is Apex 1.5 in Overwatch?
Apex 1.5 at 800 DPI is Overwatch 5 at 800 DPI (exactly 5). Both need 34.6 cm of mouse movement for a full 360° turn.
Is Apex sensitivity the same as Overwatch?
No. Apex turns 0.022° per mouse count at sensitivity 1 and Overwatch turns 0.0066°, so the same number in Overwatch is 3.33× slower. That is why you need to convert.
Where do I change sensitivity in Overwatch 2?
Options → Controls → General → Mouse → Sensitivity.
Why does Overwatch feel different at the converted sens?
The converted value matches your 360° distance exactly, but Apex and Overwatch use different fields of view and camera setups, so targets can appear to move at a different speed on screen. Make sure mouse acceleration is off in both games and in Windows, then give it a few sessions before tweaking.
