Formula
CoD to Apex formula
Apex sens = CoD sens × 0.3Call of Duty turns 0.0066° per mouse count at sensitivity 1; Apex Legends turns 0.022°. The ratio of the two, 0.0066 ÷ 0.022, is the multiplier. It holds at any DPI as long as you use the same DPI in both games.
CoD: Leave ADS sensitivity multiplier at 1.00 with the Relative transition to keep ADS consistent with hipfire.
Apex: Apex scopes use per-optic ADS multipliers on top of this value; this converts hipfire.

Converting from
Sensitivity in Call of Duty
Also applies to Warzone, Black Ops 7, Black Ops 6, MW3
Modern Call of Duty uses the same 0.0066° yaw as Overwatch 2 and Destiny 2 for hipfire. ADS speed depends on the ADS multiplier, Monitor Distance Coefficient and whether ADS field of view is Affected or Independent, so leave those at default until hipfire feels right.
- Where to set it
- Settings → Controller/Mouse → Mouse → Mouse Sensitivity
- Common range
- 4–8 at 800 DPI (22–43 cm/360°)
Converting to
Sensitivity in Apex Legends
Apex Legends runs on a heavily modified Source engine and shares CS2’s 0.022° yaw, so the same number turns the same distance in both. The FOV slider does not change hipfire turn speed, but ADS speed follows each optic’s zoom and can be tuned per optic once hipfire is set.
- Where to set it
- Settings → Mouse/Keyboard → Mouse Sensitivity
- Common range
- 0.9–2 at 800 DPI (26–58 cm/360°)

Where CoD players land in Apex
Competitive CoD players mostly use 4–8 at 800 DPI, which converts to Apex 1.2–2.4. Apex players typically sit at 0.9–2, so a typical CoD sens lands inside the usual Apex range once converted.
FAQ
CoD to Apex sens questions
How do I convert CoD sens to Apex?
To keep the same feel, divide your CoD sens by 3.3333 (or multiply by 0.3). At the same DPI, CoD 6 equals Apex 1.8. If you play Apex at a different DPI, enter both DPIs in the converter above and it compensates.
What is CoD 6 in Apex?
CoD 6 at 800 DPI is Apex 1.8 at 800 DPI (exactly 1.8). Both need 28.9 cm of mouse movement for a full 360° turn.
Is CoD sensitivity the same as Apex?
No. CoD turns 0.0066° per mouse count at sensitivity 1 and Apex turns 0.022°, so the same number in Apex is 3.33× faster. That is why you need to convert.
Where do I change sensitivity in Apex Legends?
Settings → Mouse/Keyboard → Mouse Sensitivity. Apex scopes use per-optic ADS multipliers on top of this value; this converts hipfire.
Why does Apex feel different at the converted sens?
The converted value matches your 360° distance exactly, but CoD and Apex use different fields of view and camera setups, so targets can appear to move at a different speed on screen. Make sure mouse acceleration is off in both games and in Windows, then give it a few sessions before tweaking.
