Formula
CoD to CS2 formula
CS2 sens = CoD sens × 0.3Call of Duty turns 0.0066° per mouse count at sensitivity 1; Counter-Strike 2 turns 0.022°. The ratio of the two, 0.0066 ÷ 0.022, is the multiplier. It holds at any DPI as long as you use the same DPI in both games.
CoD: Leave ADS sensitivity multiplier at 1.00 with the Relative transition to keep ADS consistent with hipfire.

Converting from
Sensitivity in Call of Duty
Also applies to Warzone, Black Ops 7, Black Ops 6, MW3
Modern Call of Duty uses the same 0.0066° yaw as Overwatch 2 and Destiny 2 for hipfire. ADS speed depends on the ADS multiplier, Monitor Distance Coefficient and whether ADS field of view is Affected or Independent, so leave those at default until hipfire feels right.
- Where to set it
- Settings → Controller/Mouse → Mouse → Mouse Sensitivity
- Common range
- 4–8 at 800 DPI (22–43 cm/360°)
Converting to
Sensitivity in Counter-Strike 2
Also applies to CS:GO
Counter-Strike 2 keeps the classic Source yaw of 0.022° per count (the m_yaw value), which is why its numbers carry over to Apex and TF2 unchanged. Raw input is always on, the field of view is fixed, and scoped speed is set separately with zoom_sensitivity_ratio.
- Where to set it
- Settings → Keyboard / Mouse → Mouse Sensitivity, or
sensitivityin the console - Common range
- 0.8–1.5 at 800 DPI (35–65 cm/360°)

Where CoD players land in CS2
Competitive CoD players mostly use 4–8 at 800 DPI, which converts to CS2 1.2–2.4. CS2 players typically sit at 0.8–1.5, so most CoD players land on the fast side in CS2. Plenty keep it that way: your muscle memory matters more than matching everyone else.
FAQ
CoD to CS2 sens questions
How do I convert CoD sens to CS2?
To keep the same feel, divide your CoD sens by 3.3333 (or multiply by 0.3). At the same DPI, CoD 6 equals CS2 1.8. If you play CS2 at a different DPI, enter both DPIs in the converter above and it compensates.
What is CoD 6 in CS2?
CoD 6 at 800 DPI is CS2 1.8 at 800 DPI (exactly 1.8). Both need 28.9 cm of mouse movement for a full 360° turn.
Is CoD sensitivity the same as CS2?
No. CoD turns 0.0066° per mouse count at sensitivity 1 and CS2 turns 0.022°, so the same number in CS2 is 3.33× faster. That is why you need to convert.
Where do I change sensitivity in Counter-Strike 2?
Settings → Keyboard / Mouse → Mouse Sensitivity, or sensitivity in the console.
Why does CS2 feel different at the converted sens?
The converted value matches your 360° distance exactly, but CoD and CS2 use different fields of view and camera setups, so targets can appear to move at a different speed on screen. Make sure mouse acceleration is off in both games and in Windows, then give it a few sessions before tweaking.
