Formula
CS2 to CoD formula
CoD sens = CS2 sens × 3.333333Counter-Strike 2 turns 0.022° per mouse count at sensitivity 1; Call of Duty turns 0.0066°. The ratio of the two, 0.022 ÷ 0.0066, is the multiplier. It holds at any DPI as long as you use the same DPI in both games.
CoD: Leave ADS sensitivity multiplier at 1.00 with the Relative transition to keep ADS consistent with hipfire.

Converting from
Sensitivity in Counter-Strike 2
Also applies to CS:GO
Counter-Strike 2 keeps the classic Source yaw of 0.022° per count (the m_yaw value), which is why its numbers carry over to Apex and TF2 unchanged. Raw input is always on, the field of view is fixed, and scoped speed is set separately with zoom_sensitivity_ratio.
- Where to set it
- Settings → Keyboard / Mouse → Mouse Sensitivity, or
sensitivityin the console - Common range
- 0.8–1.5 at 800 DPI (35–65 cm/360°)
Converting to
Sensitivity in Call of Duty
Also applies to Warzone, Black Ops 7, Black Ops 6, MW3
Modern Call of Duty uses the same 0.0066° yaw as Overwatch 2 and Destiny 2 for hipfire. ADS speed depends on the ADS multiplier, Monitor Distance Coefficient and whether ADS field of view is Affected or Independent, so leave those at default until hipfire feels right.
- Where to set it
- Settings → Controller/Mouse → Mouse → Mouse Sensitivity
- Common range
- 4–8 at 800 DPI (22–43 cm/360°)

Where CS2 players land in CoD
Competitive CS2 players mostly use 0.8–1.5 at 800 DPI, which converts to CoD 2.67–5. CoD players typically sit at 4–8, so most CS2 players land on the slow side in CoD. Plenty keep it that way: your muscle memory matters more than matching everyone else.
FAQ
CS2 to CoD sens questions
How do I convert CS2 sens to CoD?
To keep the same feel, multiply your CS2 sens by 3.3333. At the same DPI, CS2 1.2 equals CoD 4. If you play CoD at a different DPI, enter both DPIs in the converter above and it compensates.
What is CS2 1.2 in CoD?
CS2 1.2 at 800 DPI is CoD 4 at 800 DPI (exactly 4). Both need 43.3 cm of mouse movement for a full 360° turn.
Is CS2 sensitivity the same as CoD?
No. CS2 turns 0.022° per mouse count at sensitivity 1 and CoD turns 0.0066°, so the same number in CoD is 3.33× slower. That is why you need to convert.
Where do I change sensitivity in Call of Duty?
Settings → Controller/Mouse → Mouse → Mouse Sensitivity. Leave ADS sensitivity multiplier at 1.00 with the Relative transition to keep ADS consistent with hipfire.
Why does CoD feel different at the converted sens?
The converted value matches your 360° distance exactly, but CS2 and CoD use different fields of view and camera setups, so targets can appear to move at a different speed on screen. Make sure mouse acceleration is off in both games and in Windows, then give it a few sessions before tweaking.
